Dual athlon 64s?

Just curious if anyone knows if AMD is going to release Athlon 64s with dual support or if to get dual you need to get an Opteron?

as of right now you need to go opteron.
And i would guess AMD is going to keep it that way.
MP mods however may be possible.
but as of right now, Opteron is you only SMP option

im simply asking because I heard rumors of a dual athlon 64 solution that might be released in the spring called Athlon 64 DP or something like that. Just wondering if that was still in the plannings or if it was simply rumor cause I would like to upgrade my system this spring to a dual setup but I would like to avoid the opteron and registered dimms if i can.
