Finally got my rig to do 1507 mhz on air. Many thanks to Hoot for a good idea on cooling. This is the barrier I wanted and will go no farther till I get watercooling. Geez I am stoked. Oh by the way my new CPU Math score is 35.907!!! Yea.

yeah, it sure does work wonders. I didn't use a blower as he did, but I used a 92 mm fan with 3 inches of tubing (made from carton) focussed on the CPU HSF. I have a MC462 with Delta fan. WIth the cold air going in from outside case focussed on HSF i get 30C idle and 35C load on AXIA 1.33@1.46. With ambient of 21C. I will go for more soon as I didn't have time yet.

Wow! Great job. ..Did you deviate much from Hoot's cooling setup or improvise a bit? Congrats on a monster OC.

I used a bit different fan, but all the basics I stuck with, why mess with a good idea!!

Read your aticle. Wish you could see my setup !
I have something in the same plane as your exposition, but it is a 120 vac, that came from a no good microwave oven.
#1 problem is the noise to the monitor, (I really don't care, but it is there)
No big fan noise issues (thanx God)
No ducting yet. Have the fan blowing straight to the Slot A heatsink at about 35 degree angle, resting at the case bottom !
Needless to say, heatsink is at room temp and sometimes under when not running seti in high priority ...!
