hey guys...about a week ago i finished my first build and first overclock thanks to the help of many people here

a bit about my system:
AsusP4P800 DLX
P4 2.4C Week 21 Malay
Crucial Micron 512 DDR3200
ATI radeon 9500np
Turtle Beach Santa Cruz sound card
etc etc.

overclocking results:
My overclock wasn't as successful as i expected it to be considering what others were posting for their results with the 2.4C and in particular week 21 Malay...It's currently running at 3060mhz/255fsb with 5:4 divider...I tried boosting up my CPU voltage a bit to 1.625 but it didn't really help....If i bump fsb up to 260 prime95 gives me error within around 10 minutes...my temperatures are fine at 30C and get as high as 50C in prime95...i've tried the 3:2 divider and 260fsb still gives errors...i guess im stuck at 255...any thoughts? also did the softmod on my 9500np and that worked fine

plans: only thing im really considering is maybe new memory now...it's running single channel now...doesn't seem like a new HSF would help my OC since my temps are fine at stock cooling

Ya, you probably just need better ram.

i dunno....even at the 3:2 divider and my memory running at like 180mhz or so my FSB still wouldn't go past 260...i wish i could say it is the memory holding me back but i dunno
