OK, Somebody did not get the idea behind my praise

I wanted to thank Hoot for the ideas he shared with all of us about new ways to cool my box. I still feel this way, but guys like castle larger fan need not make fun of the fact that a newbie is thanking an obvious better tech guy on how to modify his computer. I have learned alot from many of you guys and will continue to do so. I hope it will be in a more professional manner. Good luck in all who O/C.!!

Most people here are pretty cool, and seem to be of a pretty good nature for the most part. And just about everyone loves a good joke. And it's good the thank people who help you out. Makes it easier for them to help out other people.

I agree...everyone here is really nice. If someone acts otherwise, then just ignore the comment and if its truly bad then i'm sure it'll be removed. But I'm sure that'll be rare becuase we're here to help and also be helped!! A win win situation for us all!

Let me set the record straight.
I did not make fun of you (nor did I intend to) and also thanked Hoot in various other postings. I was merely stating the fact that I used Hoot's idea in a different format.

A blower refers to the type of fan Hoot used in his article. I didn't have the space in my rack to fit a blower, so I used a normal fan and added a homemade tube to it. This way I was able to get cold air from outside the cage and focus it on the CPU, with very good results.

So I was trying to point out that Hoot's ideas can be implemented in many different ways.

So I would like to understand what the problem was with my posting.

Now you start and accuse me of making fun of you?
