MORE PROBLEMS WITH THE AYHJA1333 I BOUGHT

In my previous post about how bad the new 1333 performs I stated it wouldn't go over 1510. Well I ran prime 95 and the Sandra Burn in teat and it runs fine at that slow speed. Now the problem is ill be running a game like Counter Strike or Tribes and all the sudden the game will close. No frozen screen, no error message the programs just close. If anyone is interested in buying this piece a s_ _ t let me know.

What about a windows problem? Why not return it and get another just to see if it was a wonky chip? Just some suggestions. If I plug in my 1.2 tbird and have problems like yours I would be pissed also.

Id at least try another chip b4 flaming the chip itself. I dont see how they could be WORSE than the axia unless AMD forgot how to make a quality chips, which ummm.....wont ever happen

I'll buy it! If it runs Prime and Sandra, it's gotta be something else causing you to crash to desktop during games. Quite possibly the 150+ FSB you are running is putting your AGP or PCI to high? Even with the 1/2 divider for AGP you are at 75Mhz. PCI is still at 40+. According to your own sig, you were only running 138FSB before. What CAS setting are you using on the RAM?

A Tbird that will do 1500+ Air Cooled is NOT a bad chip to have.

Next time you find another thing wrong with it, can you put it in one of the existing threads? Right now the first three threads are you bashing the AYHJA. And easy on the caps.

On another note...want to trade that piece of crap for my 900 TBird? ;D
