I got 2 of these for a push pull on my heatercore.

I'm running them @ 7V, but it seems the Evercool I had (on pull only) did the same job with less noise. I thought the thicker fan would have better preasure.

too much noise i dont thikn its worth it.. one of the key sell off points of water cooling is the silence..

Well if you shop around and dont mind modding the wires you can go to a place like www.excess-solutions.com (mpja.com is another....and so on) and you can get some very nice fans of any size for like 3$ each.....All you really need to look at is how many amps they draw and such....you basically want a real low draw for low noise fans. In my chieftec case i run all 92mm fans and they draw like 140ma each. They were 4$ each and even at 12v i can barely hear them yet they push a good deal of air.
I believe excess-solutions has the nidec 1212L's or something like that....this is the fan that is rebadged as the vantec stealth.
also not to keep pluggin excess solutions but they have some 120x38 mm fans that are rated at like 35dba at 12v so 7 volting them will make them real nice and quiet.
AND to keep ranting on and on you could also get the 24v fan models and just run them at 12v....my 172mm rotrons are barely audible at 12v and they push like 120cfm

I'm running Delta WFB1212LE's in my setup at 12V. They push 80 cfm, and are pretty quiet. You can find them for $6 each if you google for them. :)

Even at 7V their 80cfm and 32dba their noisey. They have a whir and rattle sound to them. I'm going back to the Evercool, I'll just orderr a 2nd one for push/pull. Thanks for the input.
