Hoping someone can help me answer a question. I have my AXIA 1Gig overclocked to 133. Everything seems to run well and my temps are below 50 at all times but every once in a great while, my system will lock up. The only thing I can think of is my power supply because temps are only around 45C when the lockups occur. My 5V value from my PW on the other hand, is at 5V 95% of the time. 5.03 the other 10%. It is a 300W AMD certified PS, but I'm wondering if the low 5V value could be locking up my system. Do I need more juice?

Thanks much amigos!

no 300 watts is usually enough. If you have multiple hard drives or something else that takes a lot of juice you might need a bigger power supply, but it sounds to me like that processor just cant run stable at 1333 Mhz. So maybe tone it back a little and it will run stable. Are you running your voltage to the max, and what hsf are you using?

To maintain the performance of your 1Gig@1333 when you drop it down a bit try upping the fsb. It sounds strange but I had a TB 750 that would only run at 100x10.5=1050. No higher on the multiplier, but when I dropped the multi. down to 8 I ran the FSB to 138=1104 and it ran like a champ. Sometimes raising your FSB will give you more performance increases then the multiplyer.

I have 2 Ultra 100 HDs
Creative 6x DVD
Dxr3 DVD Decoder
iOmega 12x4x32x Burner
Creative Sound Blaster Live Value
VooDoo 5500
Creative 56K V.90 Modem

I have had multiplier lower and FSB higher, but the system is more stable with multiplier where it is. Voltage is nowhere near maxed out. HSF is a Volcano II w/ standard heat grease. Arctic Silver should be here in the mail tomorrow.

I have done what you said prior to boosting my multiplier to 10x. I can also run quite stable with SOYO K7VTA Pro set to 100 instead of 133 and with FSB cranked. Only thing is, I see much more performance gain with Board set to 133.

Thanks a bunch for your comments!
