Scroll down the the Athlon section. They have the stepping code partially posted. You may want to call Compgeeks to see if that is really the stepping.
But these CPU's ranged from Used to Refurbished so this is just a heads up for anyone wanting to possibly find a deal for superchip.
You tell me if this is warm or not.
$39 for a 1700+ guaranteed dlt3c is very interesting... but I wonder where they get used 1700+'s from? What is the difference between "used" and "refurbished"? Can anyone speak of the quality of used components bought from compgeeks? Are they all just poor overclocking returns?

Could be a Tbred B or an A. I can't really tell you. Someone needs to call them up and see.

I believe the AXDA1700DLT3C is a A core CPU
They made A's with 1.5 default vcore?

Do you know what I am not sure but I think the last A in AXDA indicates an A core  but I can tell you the difference between used and refurbished
Used is just used but refurbished means that it has been non-functional or damaged and repaired to the factory specs but I do not know how they can repair a CPU unless it was just bent pins.

This is not true. I got B core although they post on website as AXDA1700DLT3C. Only way to find out is to call order or just order :)
ADDED: matter of fact, I got one in front of me now. Brownie, AXDA1700DLT3C 0324 and can do 2.3ghz on air .. I dont think "A" can be that easily :)

You might have one of those moddable thorton cores. You should find out if thats a Barton stepping.

I 'm a tad behind on this but what differance in an OC could I expect from a DLT3C over a DUT3C ?
AXDA means its 13nm not A core

I don't see myself buying from compgeeks anytime soon. Check out their ratings at resellerratings before even thinking about giving them money!

I have bought from them before and they did good. Their shipping takes a little while but everything came as ordered.

Exactly, it is the last letter of the other stepping that tells you ex:jiuhb the b stands for tbred b as opposed to jiuha.

The AXDA in the beginning of the part number is not the stepping code. Its just the beginning of the AMD part number. If you actually view the image and zoom a bit you can read the stepping codes on the chip. Most of them are A core's and I saw one older stepping B core 1800.
