Multiplayer Vice City

I downloaded the patch for the Vice City multiplayer the other day, but it won't install. I keep getting errors when running the setup file through installshield. It says something like "Cannot coppy file xxxx."

Anybody have any luck with this patch/mod? Any suggesion on how to get this to work?

You mean GTA MTA? I use it all the time, it is buggy but never had a prob installing it. Maybe your dl got corrupted, try redownloading it.

I downloaded it a few times. Maybe I'll it try from a different server...

yeah, try downloading from a different server.. if it doesn't work, maybe you should just try to find a well known one.

I originally downloaded from gamespot.com. I think I might try gamespy.com now. I skipped that one, cause I refuse to pay for something I can get for free elsewhere, and also because I didn't have time to wait for an hour for my turn in line on their free servers.

Anyway, the mod's been out for a while now, so I'll check out how long it'll take for me to download it now off gamespy.com.
