Hi all !
This time a question for a friend:
He gots a ELITEGROUP K7VZA-100 Rev.3 and an Athlon C 1.200 GHZ and he already got those 2 coolers at home, which one to use better ?
I ve read much tests and reviews, one test says Taisol, other Global Win, so when you ve to choose between those 2, which one you want to use ???
He also got`s the Artic Silver II ... which i think is the best on that setup :-)
THX for your help,

don't forget to factor in noise. I would go with the fop32-1 but the taisol is more money and easier to install.
I would go for the taisol with the copper insert which I think is the 760 and a good 40cfm+ 80mm fan which will work well on the taisol due to it's dimensions

Yeah I'd pick the Taisol.... it comes with a wimpy fan though. I'd get a 33 CFM Papst for it, which seems to be a good compromise between CFM and noise. (not as loud as Delta 38). I have a FOP32-1 and it's pretty good but to make it any better I gotta get a loud fan for it (which I don't want).

THX for all comments so far...so generally i m right when i say those 2 ones got nearly same CFM power ? I mean unmodified, by use "as they are" after buying.
Whats about to put the fan of the FOP 32 to the Taisol one ? Cause i think the fan of the FOP is much better than the Taisol....
Whats about the cooling unit ? The taisol one is bigger, but better also ?
Maybe the combination of Taisol cooling unit + FOP fan isn t so bad ??
BTW: About that elitegroup board...i saw that it is very "low price" range, but i read some tests about the performance and compatibilty...sounds great !
Ok, it s nothing for "overclocking", but generally it looks not so bad

Update: Now i ve put the fan of the FOP to the Taisol cooler....looks and works fine !
elitegroup is also known as ECS
as far as quality... what i notice is the lack of UDMA100 on most boards.
other than that, i dont hear anything either way, as far as anyone having good or bad luck with them.
i think a cheap mobo is fine, even an integrated one.
the problem is in the jumpers being non-existant, or the integrated components being non-removeable... etc...
for a stock system it should be fine.
but for a hobbyist, it lacks the O/C'ing ability we want...
and at higher speeds can become unstable much easier due to less than quality components.
some can just be unstable at any speed, also LOL
it comes down to the quality factor, you get what you pay for.
