My 1.33 Tbird is running hotter than before.
I dusted out the heatsink, re-applied Artic silver 2, added a extra case fan.
My Idle temps are now 44c-47c
My load temps are now 48c-53c !!
I had load tempup to 56c the other day on a hot day.

The temps in the room have only gone up a little though because of summer.

Those are acceptable temperatures. Average temp for an Athlon when idle is around 45c. How are you checking the temps ... with the motherboard monitor probe, or an external probe? Motherboard probes are notorious for being inaccurate ... so much so that they shouldn't be trusted, especially when overclocking. I saw one off by 30c the other day ... the guy was frantic until he found out that the proc really wasn't running in the low 70's!

A $15 dollar probe will put your mind at ease.

OK, Its been about 80f outside, the room ambiant is about 75f. Case temp is 35c, CPU Idle is 48-50c, CPU with load is 50-55c !!

Ive done:..............

*Dusted heatsink with air-can.
*Re-applied Artic Silver2 correctly.
*Added an extra case fan.

Should I do anything else? Should I even worry at all?
All the games I have play with no problems.

I wouldn't be worried if it doesn't go over 60 C, as long as everything is stable I would leave it as is.

I wouldn't worry too much. The temps are high though. It looks like your case is about 10C more than room temp. Look at Hoot's article on cohesive air cooling.

I used a 92 mm axial fan made a homemade pipe of carton that stands about 3'' from the axial fan. I cut a hole in the case next to the CPU HSF for the 92 mm fan with pipe. This way their is about 1/4'' between the pipe and the fan of the HSF. SO the 92mm fan pulls cold air from outside the case onto the HSF. I use a MC462A with delta. Make sure you still have the case flow in place and you are extracting the additional air coming in.

My temps are 23C room (74F). System 26-27C pending load. CPU is about 31C idle and 36-37C load (Prime 95 and Quake for hour or two). I'm running an 1.33 AXIA 266FSB @ 1536.

The best would be to do what Hoot did, but I didn't want anything sticking out of my case.

Hope it helps.
