I would stick with the TBird for now. Most mobo's are not going to correctly identify the chips without a bios update. Until then the inclusion of SSE in the MP could trip things up a bit. We don't yet know how the MP's are going to OC either. As of today I think the only board that is properly handeling the MP is the Asus A7V133 with the latest bios.....unless you go for the Tyan K7 Thunder SMP board(high dollar)

The board that look interesting to me is the Abit KG7-RAID check it out on there site. It should be available in the near future.

go with a TBird. I have read mixed reviews on the AYHJA TBirds. I would say get the 1.3 and kick it to 1.5 with an Millenium Glaciator hsf and some artic silver II. Should be plent stable.

You might do better with video editing and all on a p4. i know its not a great overall chip, but in that stuff it is beating the snot out of everything. But if you don't want to get a new system i can understand.

What the heck are you talking about?? My tbird beats the snot out of P4 1.5 in all benchmarks before I went to 1.42gigs from 1.3. TBirds are the best so far and the MP and Palomino are gonna take Intel south!

I see you haven't got a HSF yet. I have a Swiftech 462A with Delta that works great, but it seems the ne king is the Millenium Galciator as reviewd at OC same performance at half price with less noise!!

As for the CPU. I would get the 1.33 AXIA as the price seems to be pretty decend now. You should be able to get to the high 1.5 GHz to 1.6 GHz with your mobo. I have seen 1.4's doing better, but am not sure how stable they are. They also seem to cost 15-20% more. If a few dollars is not a prob get the new 1.4's.

As to the P4 issue. I think that should be discussed in a different thread. If the SOFTWARE can USE the SSE2, it seems to do pretty well. BUT most apps dont do that and then it pretty much sucks for its complete system price. I dont think it is a question here though as the system is already halfway purchased.
