i think im the only one who thinks is awesome tho, everyone else thinks its stupid. but i see the possiblities as endless.

program it to search your house at night, and log any changes
when you recieve an email, program it to find you and display the email
program it to greet ppl and take a picture of them
get the retractable arm, and have it get you beer
let your friend in spain connect to it over the net, and drive it around your house

Those things are cool alright, but aren't the expensive. Tigerdirect used to sell those.

Also, isn't your sig too long? It's 11 lines ate 1024x768 on my screen. The forum rules say you get 10 lines at 800x600. You may want to update it.

neatr idea, but i bet you could save money useing your own lappy and making a robot and somehting for it and then running the software on it

I think it has it's own battery for the motors and all. Heck, you could probably outfit it to plug itself into a certain wall socket with that extention arm if the battery gets below a certain charge level. You could probably even use it to charge the laptops battery at the same time.
