I'm having a problem. I now have two AYHJA cpu's and I am testing them with the same system(swapping chips). I can run both chips at 10x 133 to 105 at 1.85v. However with either chip if I drop the FSB back to 133 and run the multiplier at say 10.5, 11 or 11.5 the system will boot but as soon as startup programs begin to load it freezes. I can also here the ps stress right before it freezes. Now I'm running an Enermax 431 and all reading show it's running good. Any suggestions would helpful.

You might have better luck if you pencil in your L7s to make the voltage 1.85 default on the chip, I imagine most if not all AYH's are factory unlocked (im not sure what grades they come in) but if yours was locked try redoing the unlock job...if not maybe more specs for your system would help us in assessing your problem, you should have plenty of P/S capacity with that enermax

Sorry I forgot to include my signature. The L1 is unlocked from the factory. will it really help To unlock the L7 if i can just up the voltage in my BIOS? thanks for the reply. By the way. I been running Prime 95 and playing Counter Strike ans my cpu temp is 37c. So I dont think its a temp issue.

With the KT7A, you don't need to re-code the L7 voltage pins. Setting what voltage you want, in the bios will suffice. Something else is amiss.

what kind of cooling are you using roc? i believe only 1.33 and 1.4 have that new AYHJA stepping.. i have a 1.33 with AYHJA.. i cant get any lower than 40C idle and 45C full load with air cooling.
