It's supposed to according to the thread at FW. They say you're pretty much guaranteed to get the same memory that ATI uses on their 9800 Pro's. Check out the thread over there for a bit more info.

Didn't link as I thought the thread didn't say much. I just checked it out again, and I was right.

Is the price the same in store? Maybe we could figure some Staples/Office Max price match with one of thier % or rebates deals and get this thing down to 200.00.

Looks like another sweet deal I miss out on again cause of my geographical location. Oh well I shall have to head down to my Canadian Best Buy and see if the price is even close

Actually most of the 9800 Non Pro BBA cards use 3.3ns memory, although some may have 2.86ns chips

They also list on their website under graphicvs cards the CFG asylum GeForce 5600 ultra 128 meg DDR for $175.00 with a $50.00 mail in rebate that makes it $125.00 not bad for a GeForce 5600 ultra 400 mhz core....

Just got me one today at a B&M Best Buy. I'm currently residing at school in Southern Cal. There was 1 left when I bought it. Though there was another but it had been opened.

What memory chip did you get then? Samsung/Infineon 3.0 or 3.3ns?

Artifacts are small dots or video irregularities that will show up on your screen if a card is OC'ed too high or overheating .
