Have a 700 duron that I succesfully O/ced to 850+...Had to set cpu voltage to 1.8 to get it running reliably.Problem is that I have intermittent slowdowns in all applications. It's especially noticeable in gaming. When I start up QUake 3 demo I'm posting around 96 FPS. Then it intermittently reduces to as low as 25 fPS; returns to normal, then reverts to slower mode. I reset the system back to full default cpu speeds and voltage, plus reduced the o/c on video card back to default, and it still occurs. Any ideas on source of problem? Possibly a bad cpu?

Sounds like a driver problem to me, Graphics Card Drivers..
Try the 10.80 Nvidia drivers if you have a geforce or the sub 7's for TNT's.
IF it is a Voodoo, take a look @ the latest drivers and try them..
