I have a really good friend in college right now, and I need a way to help her out. She's taking 3 labs (bio, chem, and an advanced physics) plus calc for engineers, and the stress is really getting to her. She keeps telling me that she doesn't think she's gonna make it through college, and I keep trying to help her the best I can, but I'm running out of things to do (since she's about an 1.5 hour drive away, and I can't drive it every day).

I tell her to ask if she ever needs me to do anything, since my sem is pretty slack right now, but she's not the kind of person to ask for help.

I really want to do something for her, because I can't stand seeing a friend like this, but I need some ideas. What do you guys think? I would like to just take her out to eat or something, to get her mind off of things, but she has next to no free time.

Thanks for any ideas guys, you've always been able to help me out.

Buddy, I'm as busy as they come, but I still gotta eat, ya know

That's the idea I was thinking of too

I suppose that might be what I end up doing :)
For those of you out there with hellish school schedules, is there just one thing that you would like most of all? I'm still looking for more ideas :)

keep in mind that I'm a poor college student too ;) I CAN afford to go visit her (when she's not busy) and I think I can afford eating out somewhere. Maybe it'll have to be just that for now :) thanks a bunch guys
