Hey all
I have currently got my 2.4C @ 3.14 with 1.5675 Vcore. I want to get a nice HS (currently still got the retail one from intel) and get some suggestions from all of you on what the winner should be! Also a bit of a word about fan setup (should I duct straight onto HS?) and other assorted bits wouldnt go astray! Oly then will i feel nice and fuzzy bout pumping the voltage a little more...even though i have had it up to 1.6 and it didnt seem to make a great deal of difference with stability...just more heat!

Also if my v core is always lower when under load than what I set in bios, does this mean my mobo 'undervolts'. Is this a bad thing and what can i do about it?

thanx in advance folks!!!

any of the slk-u coolers and up from thermalright paired with tornados or sfii's... or if you're on a tight budget you could get an sk7 with a p4 adapter and have temps almost on par with the slk800/900.

for people that have hearing like a dog lots of people rave about the newer zalman p4 coolers...

Go with the SP-94 from thermalright.com (manufacturer ).Available @ heatsinkfactory.com
So far it looks like the Panaflo fan is going to give
you the most bang for your buck.
Panaflo#FBA09A12U= 3450 RPM @ 68.80 CFM
w/43.0 dBA 0.43 amps 5.16 watts.If you get
the Vantec Tornado you'll prob. have to mod. the voltage to the fan to slow it down from the noise. Just a suggestion.:D
The Panaflo fans have a Hydro/wave bearing design.
This allows for less friction.ie, less heat.Go to Panaflos'
website and read up on the line of fans availible there.
Do a Google search==== panaflo fans==Panasonic===

that zalman cooler is only .04 c/w warmer than the top performer, the sp94

here's the review (http://www.overclockers.com/articles735/) of the zalman CNPS7000-Cu

Actually...given the noise thing...and the very small difference in performance, i think the Zalman is not a bad option...i can get one for 60 - 70 bucks (AUS) hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... the sp-94 is 110 dollars (AUS) hmmmmmmmmm...

i don't think the sp94 is really worth it, unless you're the type that has to have the absolute best no matter how impractical or trivial.

I vote for sk7 for it's bang for the buck performance
