Who wants an SE card anyways? that's just something to throw consumers off and get them to pay more money for a crappy card.

Hey, nVidia sold tons of MX's, and most of those guys seem happy....why not, if the price is right....

They can sell whatever they want. But I do have a problem with their naming convention's.

Adding SE seem's to suggest that it is a better card than the non SE version's. And has fooled many unknowing buyer's.

I agree, SE will probably mean to some as "second edition". I also didn't like the fact that Geforce 4 MX's are basically rebadged GF2's with better memory and higher clocks. The difference between a GF2 GTS and a GF4 MX is minimal. Those cards are still being sold in many stores, as mainstream, which is aweful.

nVidia allready pulled this SE trick with some of thier GeForce's. Good thing I found that out early or my friend would have gotten one! Now ATI is taking their idea and it sucks to be the uniformed consumer since you think you're getting a special edition card, when you're getting a special ed card.

Stick to naming conventions that make a tad bit more sense. Special as in special dosen't count.
