Quick and easy question......What power supply would you guys recommend for a ATX SlotA o/c'd Athlon 700? I'm trying to find at least a 350, but cost is an issue. Another thing, when it comes to number of connectors what should I look for?

How much can you spend? An Enermax 350Watt Psu will cost you in the neighborhood of 65 USD shipped. It will have plenty of quality lengthy connectors.
Connectors, a lot of sufficient length. The Enermax delivers.
EG365P-VE Quiet and quite powerful.

It depends on what else you are running. If all you have are a few drives and a fan or 3 then 300w is fine, 250w might even work. If you have a RAID, a SCSI chain, 20 fans..... then start thinking 350-450w. I have a Sparkle 350W that I paid $55 for, it works just fine with 6 drives, 4 120mm Sunon fans and all my cards on a KT7a RAID with a 1.333 TBird. As to the connectors, do not worry, you can get splitters and adapters for less than $2. As long as you do not go nuts the power supply can handle several splitters with no problems. I like the ones from Jameco, they are longer than most.

Enermax makes a very well built PSU and is reasonably priced. I like the double fan setup and the length of the wires. Shop around they are about $60 + shipping.

Thank you so much for the quick response. I really liked the Enermax when I looked at it. I'm really looking into a 350 and 65 sounds about right. I just need to find a distributor. I don't run that many devices, a video card, couple of PCI cards, CDRW and CD ROM, plus my hard drive. My only concern is the overclocking and the additional fans and GFD (Global Win VOS32 and KO7), plus it seems that damn Voodoo5 eats power. Anyway, you guys have been a great help! Thanks again and I'll let you know how high I go.....
