small problem ..

watercooling with 1/2 Hose

Swiftech MCP600

i can't get this cpu go above 1.7 vcore, each time i do 1.8 i get a beep and shuts down

my temp are 35/43

Are those temps when running at 1.7 Vcore? Or when the system tries to boot at 1.8v?

atm i am running @ 166x11 on default vcore at 35c

on 1.7v pc will load windows then restarts when i run Toast

on 1.8v pc will not power on

with my old cpu ( t-bird 800)

i was doing 2v running at 1ghz

when i changed cpu, i also upgraded the psu

i just put cpu block back on now getin 30c no load

Can you post with more voltage now? Or is it still not working?

I had similar problems a while ago with my 1700+ - reseating the Waterblock with more pressure on the CPU die, re-flashing my BIOS, and re-applying the Thermal Paste fixed it up.

atm i'm tryin 2 get max temp at this speed 166x11 atm its 35c

thats a 5c drop from just refitting the waterblock

going 2 test with more vcore now

grrr, what a bad mistake, cpu waterblock was not setup correct

i now get 28c and 35c on load ;-)

i can pick what vcore i like ;-)

does that temp sound ok ?

its running @ 166fsb on 12.5 on vcore 1.6

small problem ..
