Would it be a good thing to fill up my memory slots with four sticks of 512MB PC3200, or would it add no benefit at all?

This is my first build and I've tried finding the answer to this but can't find any information on this.

I'm going to have a Chaintech Zenith 9CJS and a P4 from 2.8 to 3.2.

I may overclock this in the future.

Everywhere I read, people only put in 2 sticks. Why? Cost? No extra benefit?

Thanks.

Look at your ram usage sometime, you only use like 400MB max under most situations. SOMETIMES it'll go over 512.
But I can't imagine needing 2GB...are you planning on looking at life-size porn or something?

Okay, that makes sense.

I'll keep it at 1024 max then.

But, is it better to go with one stick of 1024?
or 2 sticks of 512 each?
Or 4 sticks of 256 each?

This is the Chaintech 9CJS mobo. Which configuration will run best? And what will allow me to overclock best with?
