I have the Iwill KK266 rev 1.1 and a 750MHz Duron. I want to get a 1.0Ghz out of it. I know it is possible but i am running into a problem. What settings should i use. as far as VIO, FSB, voltage, and clock multiplier. Right now i have no jumper on the VIO so it is at the factory defualt of 3.4v. My FSB is at 100 and my cpu is unlocked cause i was able to get 945 out of it before. I have tried to set it to 10x100 and i get no video when restarting after the change in the bios. Any suggestions? BTW i used the CPU for 2 months at 750Mhz before attempting to OC it. And it has been running at 945 for a day now.
Is that mobo a kt133a or just kt133 chipset. If it is kt133a then move your VIO to the max and see what you can get out of the fsb overclock, then scale the vio down to where its lower but still stable. If its a kt133 then do the same to the core voltage and multiplier, and play with fsb just a little. I run my abit kt7 at 3.5 vio and 107 fsb, but i can get 113, i just dont do it.

It is the KT133A chipset. I have a option for 5% and 10%. and i adjust it by jumpers. Unless it enables something in the bios that i don't know about.
Did you up your CPU core voltage to 1.85? If not do that. you also may not be able to get 1 ghz out of that 750, i have overclocked 5 of the 750 mhz duron chip, with standard cooling (FOP-32 or so) only 2 of the 5 made 1 ghz. If you use a swiftech MC462 they all seem to do it though ;) Anyway, if you don't reach 1 ghz don't be suprised as not all 750's go that high.

my 750 duron does 990 mhz with fop32 and cheap thermal grease
My D750 CAN do 1000 MHz... maybe more - with 1.85V set in BIOS... and... when better cooled. :(
Prime95 works well at 1000... until CPU temp is lower than 60C
After several minutes temperature raise above 60C and prime95 fails.
With current cooler I can run stable 960-970 MHz, with CPU full load temperature 63C.
Need better cooling now. Cooler is lapped and ASII is applied. But it has too weak fans (2 fans, but weak).. and case is too small and closed.
And I can't boot over 900 MHz until I penciled L7!!!!!

Maybe i am mistaken but that temp is WAY TOO HIGH... that is your problem, get that down in the 40's and a gig should be easy-i know that durons run hot but THAT IS HOTT!!! mabe im overreacting but i dont want u to kill your chip

well i have it at 950 and i have been told i should burn in at that speed. I have a thremoengine on and my temp is between 93-100F. I have only seen it go as high as 105F. Do you think the temp is a problem. I can boot into windows but once i get there after hitting enter from the network password prompt i see a Blue screen "windows protection error." BaH!
BTW. I didn't try anything besides 950 and 1000, since i penciled in the L7 bridges. i'm sure i can get like 975 but i want a gig? I was playing Quake3 for about two hours and tested the temp after and i was at like 100F.

ID up the VIO to 3.6 if ya can. Aslo up the voltage 1 notch and if its not stable maybe lower it, that should get rid of some heat-it sounds as if heat is a problem. All chips are different-maybe it wont hit a gig, but i bet it will. i dont think that Burning in relly helps, but you can try it- try a multiplier of 7.5x133=1000 maybe you can go hhigher but the multiplier maybe too high. Up the FSB more and lower multiplier

well right now with my thermoengine i at getting cpu temps of 28C(idle) 40C(full load). This is at 950. I will try to adjust the VIO i just hope it doesn't fry my board. =] but anyways here goes nothing.
