I'm in serious lack of USB ports (only have 2 at the moment), and I'm too cheap to shell out 20 $ for a splitter. I have an unused USB header on my mobo, any way I can (very cheaply) make use of it ? Sort-of liek creating my own usb connectors and attaching them to the header ? It doesn,t have to look nice, just functional...
There is an adapter that hooks into that. Can probably be had at most computer stores for <$5.

well the cheapest I've found was at Zellers, $15, that included some halfassed 5¼ faceplate where on the side there was the USB port and in the center it was a 3½ space to install some floppy drive or something ... Anything else and we're talking about external hubs, which I don,t want (I already have too many wires around here, no need for more ;))
