Hi again, I was wondering if theres is a way to know if the CPU is unlocked from the serial number on it....

Not conclusively. The only way to be absolutely certain is to carefully examine the 'L1' bridges.

Or you could try changing the multiplier from default and see if it works. If it works on all the different multipiers then it's unlocked.

by far the easiest way is to just look at it. examined my friends new 1.33 tbird and its obvious the bridges on the L1 are connected. the connection is small, so if you aren't sure a magnifying glass may help. also, as said you can always try to change the multiplier on it. that's the only way to tell if the pencil trick works for instance. sometimes it will *look* like you connected all the bridges, but somehow the connection isnt good and it wont work at changed multipliers. hope that helps some
