1G AXIA @1333 (10x133), 1.825V, Taisol CGK / Arctic Silver II, Abit KT7A, 128Mb Kingmax PC150, GF2 GTS 32Mb, Enermax 350W PSU etc.
Two IDENTICAL PC's side by side. Working just fine until I swapped out both mini-tower cases and replaced with newer ones for better airflow. Temps are fine . Problem is that now whilst both will power on , the monitor(s) initialise but then one or both will drop back into powersaving mode and PC will just sit there - no beeps, nothing - just powered on and waiting. Pushing reset restarts just fine - monitor powers up and away they go. Problem does not occur all the time (maybe 50% of startups). Monitors are Sony Trinitron 17SF II's. Everything was fine until I swapped cases. Have swapped components between PC's (It's not the video cards ). Tried all sorts of BIOS (ZT) setting combos (incl defaults). When they are running there are no problems - they both fly. It's just getting them started. Monitors ARE NOT powerd off PSU, they are both on sep power input. Also tried them on another power outlet. Bottom line - changed the cases and now both have this weird problem.
Has anyone seen this problem before?
