Hi guys,

I have a small problem with my new 1.2Ghz TB on a Asus A7V133. Even after I connected the L1 bridge with a pen (maybe im dumb, but it seems that the L1 bridge is already connected, the points were connected by a small line of the same material from which the points are made at, but maybe my eyes are just too bad...)i wasnt able to change the FSB or the multiplicity @ BIOS (even looked if the jumper on the MB is setted to Jumperless). Anyone knows a solution? And while im asking here, what Clockrange is safe on VooDoo 4 4500 with a standard fan? im currently at 190 (168 standard).

Thank you for your help.

What kind of pen did you use? A conductive ink pen, or a regular household pen? I'm not trying to be insulting, its just that if you didn't know, there is a difference. I would try just a regular mechanical pencil and go over each bridge a bunch of times, making sure that no pencil line crosses over the the opposite bridge. Use a magnifying glass, it'll help, trust me. However, you should be able to change the FSB no matter what, you just have to change the setting above the multiplier setting in the BIOS from [default] to [User Define] if you havn't done that already. And make sure that the dips are set to JumperFree mode. As for the Voodoo 4, I would suggest to just keep pushing it till it becomes unstable. A videocard will crap out (lock the system, become unstable) long before it overheats and dies.

Hope this helps.

Thank you a lot, I found the prob by myself. The L1 bridge was already connected by the factory. Seems that the pencil did something wrong. After I erased it, everything worked fine.
