I understand cooling is all important and already am reaching my limits for now. My 900@1017, what can I expect to obtain reasonably safely?
Without a lot of fiddling and system enhancement, you can reasonably expect to get between 1000 and 1100 Mhz, total speed. My 600, originally, out of the box, did 10x100 with a modest HSF, modest PSU and modest memory. I had to replace all three to get above 1100.

Just keep pushing it till it becomes unstable. And I'd replace your hsf if it isn't quite up to snuff, and pick up a Glaciator or a FOP38, CAK38, or something similar.

is it a slot or a TB??? My TB I have gotten up to 1100 on a CHROME ORB...so i know that with a WBK38 I will be able to attain more...(crossing fingers). So you can push a 900 quite far, a couple hundred MHz.
