Don't you just love TCWO.com. Those guys are the best. Once I ordered 2 cases 2 pair of big speakers and a few other odds and ends and the shipping was still only $6.99.

I've just pushed my AYHJA to 1600mhz. at 1.88V I could run games, apps, and the reg, but Prim95 wouldn't pass a single loop. I've pushed the voltage to 2.0v and now Prime95 is running stable. The only problem is the heat. According to VIA Hardware Monitor I peak at 47C at full load. This is water-cooled, so I suppose the next step is a Peltier. Anyone got a link for a good 172 watt TEC?!

What is your multiplier set to and fsb, i can only set fsb with this asus board, so i cant go past 147 without errors....and im at like 49-50c at 15.6ghz, i've ordered a dangerden block and a 156watt pelt to see what the temps will look like..

Not bad at all! Especially for insufficiant cooling!

I have to run -24C water through a Maze2 block to get my AXIA up over 1600 mhz.

Try Dangerden they have some of the best stuff money can buy. Their Maze 2-1 block will let you run either with or without a tec and would be a great choice, they also have tecs to.

You don't need a TEC. You are well over 100W on that setup. If you are getting 47C at full load, that is pretty decent. You may be able to buy back a few degrees with top-of-the-line water components, but I'd say you are close to as good as you can hope for already. You may find that once you run it for a while, you can back off on the core voltage and stay stable in Prime95. Run it hard for a week or two and then try backing off on the Vcore a little bit at a time.
