It doesn't sound like he is looking for a member-to-member sale. Sounds like he is just looking for a deal. Many people ask for tips on where to get deals here in cyber deals.

I would be interested about any good 17in LCD deals myself if anyone knows of any.

well the benq fp767 is always a good choice. it was 378 about 5 months ago. it's probly around 300 now.

edit: just checked around.. its 399 now :eek:

Here is the only spot I have seen decent 17inch LCD monitors for under $300 bucks.

They have a couple models that are right at $299.99 although they are out of stock at the moment. But, if you want a better one they also have the 767's in refurb as well for $339.00. OR, if you don't mind spending just a bit more, Newegg has the NEC 1760 for $389.00 with free shipping, and since I actually own one of those I can tell you just how good they are! Good luck!
