Alright - I have a project in the works. Water cooling my laptop. Not gonna let too much out of the bag yet, but I need some help with a pump. I'm running the water through 1/4" ID copper tubing, and I need a smaller pump that'll get me a decent flowrate without much noise. I was looking at a danner mag 1.5 or maybe 2, but I'm not sure if these will be too powerful for my setup. Any experiences, let me know. Thanks.

I had one of those in my watercooling days... I liked it a lot.

I'll second the quiet statement...although I think I'll reserve the cute statement for something *NOT* in the aquarium pump category;). If that runs a bit warm for you, try one of the lower level maxis, they should be plenty to run water through 1/4" tubing in a laptop, without the added heat.

Anyone know a good place to get a eheim compact? I saw them on marinedepot.com and their prices looked pretty good. Any other places to look? Thanks for the info guys.
