Recently i downloaded a new BIOS version for my motherboard (1013C.001), an ASUS A7A-133 that allows it to accept AthlonXP processors up to 2600+ and the new Durons as well. I have flashed my BIOS before in the past with no problems. But this time i saw something different:

I created a boot disk from WinXP and then restarted my comp. It booted from the disk normally, i typed AFLASH (i guess you all know the utility) and i saw something weird:

The second option was "Update BIOS without Boot block and ESCD".

Something tells me that this isnt right.

In my mobo's User manual it says that the second option must say "Update BIOS including Boot block and ESCD".

So now i hesitate to update my BIOS cause im worried that something might go wrong. Can anyone please help me on this?
