What is the standard vcore volts on a 1.2 Gig TB? By default my ASUS A7V133 has it set at 1.8V and the chip is way to hot. Lower volts should be cooler so I would like to know the rated and the min I could get away with.
Typically the cpu is in the 54C range under almost no load. Yes I only have a coolmaster fan and I'm looking for a new one but still I'm getting a 14C rise from the motherboard sensor to the cpu sensor using MBM5. Seems the board temp is high also,but its cooking in the NE this week, so the board temp is about 10 C rise over the house temp. And the case is open.

Look on the chip
example
A0850APT3B where 0850 is the speed, P is the voltage
S=1.5, U=1.6, P=1.7, M=1.75, N=1.8
You should be able to drop the voltage. I am running my Vc at 1.7 on a 1 GHz TB O/C @1.4 GHz
