How much do you want to push your system? A good HSF will help get your temps down quite a bit.

Set up a water cooling system first before trying a pelt. A HSF will not work with a 156 or 172 watt pelt which is the what is needed to cool a AMD.

A Maze 2-1 from Dangerden is a great choice because it gives you the abiity to run water cooling only or water+pelt.

I pretty much have the same system your running, 1.2@ 1.35, A7V133 wo/s, 512 133ram, OCed creative G2 vid card. Lose the stock HSF!! H2O is the way to go. Its quiet, and depending on the means of cooling it can be relaxing!! : ) I started cooling with water about a month ago, the results are good but you need to take a lot into consideration. how will you cool the water (evap, radi, chiller) this is going to be your major obsticle. I also just bought a 156w pelt. Im waiting for the power supple to come in. Once your H2O system is working and has good cooling results, then add a pelt if you want to push the CPU further. When you get into active cooling your getting into other issues, pelts if cooled enough will create condensation on any part that is below room temp. This matter gets worse if you live in humid areas of the globe ( i live in Mass. on the ocean, im going to have a fountain gushing out of my case). so H2O proffing has to be taken into consideration. I will let you know how my pelt works out, im going to be running about 15-16 volts @ 10-11 amps and should get that proc to about 1.5 maybe higher. does anyone know why 3d apps also kill a nice OCed rig? Can this be changed by changing the AGP bus?

I pretty much agree with previous posts.

FIrst go to water before thinking of pelt. When you go to pelt you might want to get bigger PSU. 400W or more to make sure everything stays stable at high GHZ!!

As to shopping, I suggest you phone the reseller to make payment arrangements. I dont know of any that work COD. Maybe use postal orders or escrow service.
