I know Registered RAM has problem with overclocking. What about ECC? I am considering ECC because I may need the extra stability when I use 3D graphics applications but still would like to overclock the system for games. Does ECC RAM have known problem with overclocking?

I would just go with some very high quality ram or some cheep pc150 or 166. Pc166 is so ridiculously cheep there is hardly a reason for pc133 any more. Even if you are running it at 133 you can put your latencies down to 222. Neutronet (http://www.neutronet.com) is selling 256 mb Tonicom pc166 for only $45.

i don't know about ECC and overclocking, i wouldn't think so though. I don't know why you want to spend the extra money for it either though. its only really usefull in the server enviroment.

It's not really much different but it certainly costs a tad more...
My other system has PC-100 (ECC) running at 133MHz...

Server AND workstations. I can't afford to have my machine go down while rendering a scene with large MB of textures. And ECC's are only 5 to 10 bucks more anyway. Thanks for the reply by the way.
