I have:
128 mb 266mhz
512 mb 333mhz

am I better off just using the 512 at the higher speed or using the full amount at the slower speed? I am guessing it is better to use the higher speed, but would love some advice.
Thank you

I'd lean towards the single stick of PC3200, but if you are running a server or do things that uses more than 512MB, you're better off with both sticks. You don't want your computer to run out of RAM and use the hard disk swap too much.

That 128mb really won't help much, I'd keep it outta there so it don't slow the other ram down...........unless you can set your FSB manually and run em both at 166mhz together.
