hmm, it seems the 1.3 ghz AXIA 200fsb just overclock higher. The 1ghz and 1.2ghz AXIAs overclock about the same. If you want a recommended list shoot me an e-mail at dunno260@lycos.com with your budget for the project and I will tell you what I would get if I had the money.

I assume when you say no extra voltage you mean no volt mod - that's pretty sensible, cos it's going to be hard enough keeping a 1.2/1.33 cool at 1.85V, let alone 2.2V! I'd add a couple of case fans along with the fan(s) on the radiator if you're watercooling, or duct cool air through the radiator - you don't want warm air going through it. As for which chip to go for, like William said the 1.3gig would probably be better, though it's generally a pretty close thing so I'd go with whatever you can get and not worry too much about it.

sound like it was a tough job over here!! he told me he don't want the pc to be too loud!! and i was the one who will hook up all the thing for him, and i was totally new in T-bird and those soldering stuff!! so i was pretty much assume those can be avoided!! kind of choosy over here...hee!!! :)
I think the question is not 1.2 Gig or 1.33 gig, but 1.0 gig AXIA or 1.33 gig AYHJA or 1.2 Gig Athlon 4. Here is a link to a chart showing all of the steppings and their average overclock... http://www.athlonoc.com/stepping2.php
and here is a link to a first overclock of the Athlon 4 1.2 Gig... http://www.athlonoc.com/athlon4overclocking.php
Hope that helps
