Hey Guys just looking through cpu city and it seems they have the newest Xp2500+'s .
Xp2500+ Aqzfa (http://www.cpucitystore.co.uk/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=298)
Im thinking they are going to be wicked overclockers, have seen some Aqzea results and ive been impressed.

I just got one myself (although I wasn't looking for it), havn't had a chance to run it yet as I'm still waiting on some ram. But I will let the forum know when I've got it up and running.
I hope that it's good too!

Definetly would like to know how you get on, looks very promising indeed.
Well atleast theres a place to buy the guarenteed steppings so we can have an idea of what they can do :D .
Keep us posted....

Of course this stepping will be good, it has more potential than all other steppings before it. Newer steppings are always better.
Mine will be here on Thursday night, will report on the weekend hopefully..

I have one. I can't seem to get the FSB over 200, and I can't seem to get the multiplier past 12, latest bios, stock voltage.
I'm new at this.

2x256mb hyperX PC3500
radeon 9800pro sapphire
too bad there is no local distributor of Abit motherboards here =( ........ Epox 8RDA+ rev 2.1 seems to be the only choice left for me ...... am still waiting to see if i got any other mobo choice.

hey guys....
being following this thread...any results yet? on what you've got out of this stepping, for those who have it. being thinking whether to buy one or not.
get some northbridge cooling on that 8k3a and you'll hit the same fsb results.

I just got one from NewEgg last week, installed it in my nforce 2 Shuttle mobo, and within a day, the bios was corrupted to the point where it would not POST. Shuttle handily left off the jumper to reset the bios, too. So I haven't gotten a chance to even try.

Too bad they only ship to the U.K.

Well, a friend of mine just got a new PC, a combo of this stepping chip w/ NF7 board and Samsung DDR400 (CL3) should give him some crazy speeds, too bad he's only gonna have to use the stock cooler on it. but I think it should hit 2.2GHz w/o a hitch even on stock cooling

I will try to see how far I can push it at stock voltage, as I don't think that the heatsink I got on that thing is worth a crap. It does keep the temps reasanoble at stock speeds, I'll see what I can make it do, hopefully today :)

Nice one !! Would be tempted to get one myself but results would have to be pretty good for me to ditch the one i have now..... 2.6ghz would be soo sweet (Very very hard but sweet).

give me 'till Sunday :) .. I'm testing out a new AQXEA 0331 myself, she's doing 11 x 250 = 2.75Ghz @1.9v .. and yes retail HSF .. I'm going to make her wet tonight then try MachII .. I'm still shooting for 3ghz on Bartons...

Ohhh , Ohhh my god !! Thats un-natural....... what a chip........ and 250FSB  .
I have an Xp2500+ Aqxea 0330 aswell and it takes 2.05v for 2.5ghz on water.
Could prob hit 2.6ghz with my Aquca and 2v but she runs too hot. 1.87v and 2.48ghz will have to do  .
Do you have an Aqzfa aswell?

As I suspected, the heatsink can't take much more. its at 2.2GHz and stock voltage, but at 53C diode temp.
Seems stable so far on prime95.
here's a screenie (its at 200x11):

I think that if you can put ur hands on an AQZFA I'd do that, it seems to be later week and generally newer stepping than the AQXEA. the 2.75GHz is just a POST, it doesn't mean it would even come close to being stable, and I somehow doubt you could run 1.9v with the stock cooler at such speeds... It'd overheat pretty fast.

Well if its posting at 2.75ghz with stock cooler and only 1.9v , and he has a pommi standing by..........................i think its a very good posibility he will hit atleast that stable ....... even with a bit more voltage.
3ghz from a barton ...... :attn: that would kick some serious ass.
Ok final "stable" oc is 2.46 ~ 2.5Ghz @1.95v on water, full load temps 50c 1:1mem ratio .. here:
http://www.mwvision.com/benchmark/amd/barton/2.5B.jpg
/me thinks to try AQZFA on the same setup..

True, but it did load windows + did a fresh windows installation with that speed, then, no go from there. I can't bench, wierdo .. anyho, I'll keep trying those Bartons 'till I get the magic chip! .. I just converted to AMD and I'm lovin' it already :D

I just got an 0331 TPMW from Monarch that does 2420 with 1.9V on air.
