Would it be safe to add additional molex connectors to my existing power supply? I really want to hook a second HD up to my system for aditional storage space, but I don't know if it's alright to do something like that. My PSU is a 350W Codegen.
Voltages a'la MBM:
+3.21V (+- 0.03V)
+4.81V (+- 0.04V)
+12.25V (+- 0.15V)
-13.22V (+- 0.05V)
-5.09V (+- 0.0V)
PSU Sticker Specs:
+3.3 20A
+5 30A
+12 12A
+5VSB 2A
-5 0.5A
-12 0.8A
Current System Devices:
XP1800 Palomino
WD 800JB
DVD-ROM
CD-RW
Radeon 9500
2 Floppies
2 Case Fans & 1 CPU Fan
I haven't noticed my voltage change substantially when I've added additional devices to it. However, they do seem to fluctuate a bit (maximum fluctuations shown above). Thus I'm a bit iffy on wether it's OK to throw one more device on the chain by putting another molex connector onto one of the chains.
