I was thinking about getting this case PlusView1000AMG (http://www.antec-inc.com/pro_details_enclosure.php?ProdID=90510#) ... Good looks and good price.... It holds 5 80mm fans... Was thinking of using either 5 Y-S tech adjustable 10-48 CFM fans or the Panaflo A12U's... Not really what fan I should go for..

Has anyone had anything bad to say about this case?? I'm going to use it for my 2.4C @ 3.3 which doesn't run to awfully hot... usually around 49C at load... So my main question is is this a good case and if yes which fan should I use???

thanks for any comments...

I own said case, and love it to death. I have stayed with Antec fans (2 front intakes, 1 side blower, 2 rear exhaust). Add that to an Antec PSU (bottom fan), I am chillin!

Seriously, great case. A lot of room. The only problem I have had with my case is the front usb/firewire ports. If you push in USB to hard, it has a tendency to "Snap" out of it's clamp.

I have a Chieftec version of this case. Great construction and airflow.

I use it and love the case. Very quiet. They are steel and heavy so don't get it if you plan on moving it often.
Great cooling. I use Panaflo L1A's for the intake all year long and a L1A on an overclocked P4 for the heatsink during the winter. The two exhausts are Panaflo H1A's hooked up to the Antec power supply fan regulator. They usually run at lower Rpm’s than the unregulated intakes. I switch out the L1A heatsink fan for a M1A in the hot sunmmer months.
Does the A12U's have heat sensors or are they the Ultra high RPM’s? High RPM fans are not needed with that case.

just got it and love it
using the 2 80mm that case as exhust.

added 1 80mm in front (bottom removable drive bay) to cool HDD's (raid)...
and 1 120mm in front bottom.

Only beef i have with it is you have to remove 1 drive bay section in order to fit a 120MM fan in the front of the case... but thats not too big of a deal, as you can still place the fan infront of the drive bay and its still sucking in/moving air around very nicely.

My PSU (Erenmax) also has 2 fans sucking air out...

GREAT case. I bought the 1080AMG (same case, no side window) because it came with the antec 430 true psu... i just recently added the SP10W-AMG and i'm LOVING it.

Highly recommend.

Was it hard to install the 120mm L1A in the front??? Did it require any modifaction?? If not then I think I'll go for that... If the 34 CFM fans are good enough I might just go with the Antec Blue LED fan on the window and the clear Pro 80mm on the back.... Thanks for all the great comments... I'm definitly going to be getting this one soon...

no, as i didnt really, truly install it.... i placed it thier :D
Its currently just sitting in front the the drive BAY,... but its moving air all around, so i am happy.

IF you remove the bottom bay, you could tie it in or something... but for now i am happy with whats its doing.

if you dont have rubber on the back, it will vibrate however..
