I ordered all the components for my new athlon box and my cooling method will be vapochill. Also, this is my first time to build a pc.
Anyhow, do i need a fan and a heatsink with vapochill? I ordered my processor(oem) without a fan and a heatsink. I assumed i might not need it.
do i?

and I need a good advice for OCing too. Since I'm a newbie, I looked around and got to know somewhat about basic oc stuff. Still , there might be many things that are not discussed in forums and articles because it's too obvious or something. So, just give any advice for a newbie building and OCing his first box might need.
thanks.

My box will be made with

athlon T-bird 1.4Ghz(ayhja)
Asus a7v133
kingmax pc150 256MB sdram x 2
ibm deskstar 75gpx
visiontek 64mb geforce3
POWER SUPPLY 550W(P4 12)ATX ENERMAX
asetek vapochill

only advice i can give you is hang out here alot, read some threads and ask some specific questions
read your motherboard manual to get a basic understanding of how it works
again, read the forums, i've learned so much
and still have much to learn

its a never ending quest for OCing knowledge

A Vapochill for your first build..wow.

Read as much as you can. If something isn't clear to you, ask questions. Take a look at the beginners guides that are linked on the left hand side of the front page.

Once you are ready, and begin your build, if you are uncertain of something, stop and ask a question or several. You're undertaking something that I've never done, but there are people out in overclocking land that have Vapochill systems.

Patience and study are your two biggest allies.
