from this (http://www.xbitlabs.com/news/mainboards/display/20031013115400.html) artical, Nvidia has released a new southbridge to motherboard manufacturers, the artical mentions Abit with the AN7. The new southbridge is called the MCP-S and has the same features as the MCP-T but adds two SATA ports. to clarify, this southbridge is for the Nforce2 chipset (socket A). Abits motherboard should be out at the end of october. This bridge could have been developed and released even after the Nforce3 launch because of its use in the rumored Nforce chipset for Pentium IV.

i think that the big new thing about this chipset is that it has integrated SATA-150 similar to the KT600.

The Asus A7N8X Deluxe has the MCP-T, not the MCP-S. Basically, as pby5cat mentioned, the MCP-S will have SATA integrated right onto it (no more Silicon Logic ;) ) and a Gigabit NIC as well. I don't think there are any products that have even been released with the MCP-S. I have to admit that the Abit AN7 does sound very nice, too bad it's not worth replacing my NF7-S for it however.
