I have a TBird 800 with FOP 38 heatsink which im running at 910Mhz right now. I have an ASUS A7V MoBo and 128Mb of RAM. NVidia GeForce2MX. Its very stabil right now. Passed the Prime Torture Test.

My problem is i unlocked the multiplier using both the pencil trick and soldering it. And both will only give me a max mult of 8.5. Why is that?? So i resorted to changing the Bus speed. And the Max bus speed that my CPU will boot is 111Mhz. And At 111Mhz, Prime gives errors. Anything beyond that and windows2000 will give me an error. Please help. I want to O/C my computer further.

I also made a vent system to for the intake of the CPU fan and that really cooled my CPU.

can you go lower ? try 7x100 to make sure it is unlocked. if it doesn't work you will have to repeat the closing of your L1's. hope it works.

OK..... Something new. I took out my CPU and resoldered the L1 Bridges. Now i can get a multiplier of 9.5 and thats the most it will go.
What is the max mult you can achieve with it unlocked??

And when I boot to 9.5 x 100Mhz windows keeps giving me errors. What is the problem and how do I solve it??

As I am writing this, im running Prime95 to test the stability at 9.0 x 100Mhz. HmMm... how do I push it further?
