Right my dad has got 2 sticks off Corsair XMS PC3500 Cas 2 and his looking into getting a Abit NF7-S and i wanted to ask if this will work in dual channel

512Meg Corsair XMS PC3500 Cas 2
256Meg Corsair XMS PC3500 Cas 2

I would test it in mine but his lives 150miles away

Hi Steven,
I always thought they needed to the same size, just checked in my Asus P4P800 manual and it states:
In dual-channel configurations, install only identical (the same type and size) DDR DIMM pairs for each channel.
I presume this would be the same for all dual-channel configs and not just 865 chipset but I could be wrong. Your Dad could either sell one and get a match for the other dimm or just run them in single channel mode.
