The topic pretty much says it all. I am looking for a PCI video card that can run two vga displays at the same time. I believe this is called dual head or twin head or something like that but please correct me if my terminology is incorrect. It must me PCI as I already have an AGP card but it can't run both outputs at the same time. I want to run 3 screens :)
I can't seem to find much on this so any help you can offer would be appreciated.
You could check out the PNY Quadro4 NVS 200 or NVS 400, but they are pricey. They offer exceptional 2D performance.
Or, if you want something a little cheaper, Matrox's G200 & G450 MMS Multi-Monitor PCI cards offer what you're looking for.
The G200 MMS and the G450 MMS are actually very pricey (around $400-500) and are intended as professional solutions (I believe they have multiple processors on them and can support up to 4 monitors).
You might be able to find a Geforce4 MX440 PCI in a dualhead configuration, and also a Matrox G400 PCI in dualhead as well (different from the MMS, only supports 2 monitors, only one processor, quite a bit older as well). The Geforce4 MX440 or even a Geforce2 MX400 would be the cheapest options, but you might have some difficulty finding either with a Dualhead configuration.
Perhaps it would be easier to simply buy two cheap PCI cards.

My Jaton GeForce 4 MX440 has dual VGA heads, and I must say it does a mighty fine job at doing it to.

thanks for the inputs guys. I am going to pick up the monitors tomorrow and what I end up doing will depend on what I find :)
