I have a Aspire 1830 tower OEM 233 MMX AMDK6. Is this done on the board or in the bios?
Is it possible? Should I bother? How fast could it get?
I can't find info on the motherboard like jumper settings.
I have little shareware util running from config.sys that does some kind of write allocation at bootup but don't really know if this does anything. I guess it was written for K6's. Sometimes the output shows up to 250mhz when it runs and other times it shows only 220mhz. The product is called K6-Pro 0.2 by BlueSky Innovations LLC. http://www.blueskyinnovations.com/ what does this thing really do, anything?
Anyway is there a real way to overclock this pc?
