Heres an interesting tip.
If you plan on buying Half-Life 2 in the next few months, consider this. The game will cost about £35. Many sites in the UK (i don't know about the US), are selling video cards that bundle a coupon for for a free copy of Half-Life 2. So instead of spending £35 on just the game, consider buying an Asus Radeon 9200, for just £42, as advertised here (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/acatalog/Online_Catalogue_Asus_137.html) , or many other sites. You then get a decent card for just £7 more, that will run pretty much anything that out there at the moment. And with some overclocking, you can squeez all the juice out of it. You also get the most awaited event since the moon landing, for free - HL2.
Just a thought.:)
