Kingston pc2700 valueram

Hi there.

I have a question regarding kingston pc2700 ram. I just bought 1 today , its a pc2700 kingston 256mb. The printing on the ram is:
D328DL-60

Any ideas what that means? i.e. is it a samsung,hynix,micron,winbond,??

the brand of the chips are generally printed on the chips themselves along with thier part number.

a bit of google magic just says the chips to be kingston... but that dosnt make much sense (atleast not to me)

It says kingston on it. But i heard kingston don't make their own chips. i.e. use oem.
