I am somewhat new to the OC scence........

I have a T-Bird 800 on an Asus A7V and the highest stabil point i am able to reach is 9.0 x 105 (1.89v) which brings me to 945Mhz. Im using FOP38 hs/fan and 2 80mm fans....

Any advice on how to get it to go higher? The temperature is ok... 38idle and 42 Load..... thats on good days when da sun dont shine....

The CPU will post at 9.5 x 100 but windows will give errors.... do i need to overvolt it?? what is your advice??

Peace.....

Yes try SLOWLY raising the vlotage up a bit and that should help.

You should be okay with anything upto 2.0v with that nice fan you got. I run my Spifire and Thunderbird cores at anything upto 2.15v aircooled.

Never run Athlon MP that high though!!!!! I killed my first one doing that when I didn't remove my voltage mod.

Yep, u will need to do the voltmod to get those high voltages.

Ohh look, I just got my 5th star ! :)

Man... doing the voltage mod is freakin hard... the components are so small.....

yes, you need to solder a 12ohm resister on to the voltage controoler(i dont remember witch pins).
