Heyas all;
Does anyone have a 1.4 Athlon and if so what are your overclocking results? Please also include your CPU details and code.
I'm looking to upgrade to this new chip but I need to know if it is a good overclocker.
Anyone have any urls with this info as well?
Thanks!

The fact that I got Athlon MP 1.2Ghz is a bit of an unfair advantage for me!!

Well from the reviews I think most are hitting like 1.53 Ghz or so.

I have gotten 2 oem ayhja 1.4's. The first one would not do above 1.5 stable with 1.92 volts on my iwill kk266r. I sold that one. Got the second one last week and it does 1.62 at 1.92 volts rock solid.
I am using a thermoengine - max temps are 46c. I am waiting for the glaciator. I am running 155cas2 and thinking my ram / nic/etc. will give out much higher.

Thanks Scotto. Seems like not many of the 1.4's do much above 1500.
I have a 1.2 currentlly at 1.5 (143X10.5, ASUS A7V133).
Pitty there arnt any places in Australia that sell CPU's tested for O/C...
Thanks

Thanks Babster.
What was the max speed you were able to get at 1.85volts?
I have an asus a7v133 and its locked at 1.85.
Also, what are your CPU details?
Thanks

I got it up to about 1529 (11.5 x 133) at 1.8V (the Epox only has 0.1V adjustments).

I'd love to tell you the whole code for the chip, but I think that info is in a text file at work, and I don't want to pull the water block off just to look. I got it from newegg about a week ago.

Edit: Here it is.

The 1.4 seems to run cooler that the 1.2 tbird I had before (to me). And, no, I can't back that up.

1.4 @ 1.6 stable. I've got a AYHJA, running at 55C (Poor cooling system, I think, and the probe doesnt seem to work right). Got a Thermaltake mini copper orb heatsink w/fan.

OMG... get rid of that thermaltake orb fast.. You will burn your cpu at those speeds and temps with that fan. Get at least a globalwin cak38 or gladiator. Otherwise i will morn your dead cpu in few days.

I've also got a 1.4 Ayhja week 18 This thing is awesome compared to my 1.2 I used to have the only drawback is my damn motherboard, which you can probably guess.. It's the Dreaded Asus A7m266.. No dang cpu multiplier so I can't get a good solid overclock just using the fsb, but I have got it to post all the way up to1620 using 155fsb but the damn thing locks up with blue screens of death midway during boot saying inaccesible boot device.. If someone could help me I'd really appreciate it..I've tried every imaginable thing possible with the voltages and settings in the bios, but I think possibly maybe my modem or soundcard could also be holding me back from being stable above 148 fsb.. I've already got the Abit Kg-7Raid mobo on the way thank god, hehe Sick of this stupid asus mobo

I did get mine up to 1.7GHz but Windows wouldnt start. Does that count? I had 12.0 as the multiplier and just kept raising the FSB. As far as the heatsink goes, I've yet to see it climb above 140F. This heatsink seems to stop it from getting beyond that, so burnout probably won't occur, but I will look into a new cooling system before the overall wear of high temp gets to it. I wouldnt really trust the probe, either ;)
